A lot has happened

A lot has happened in the three years since my last blog. I still live in Stuart Fl. and am still retired. And thankfully still married to the most wonderful lady on earth. Still very happy.
What's new is I am very involved in my church. We have a great mid-sized church of about 350 people. It seems like half of them are snowbirds, we get a little thin in the summer time. I was on the Board of Directors for three years and the chairman one of those years. I enjoy being the puppeteer for our VBS every summer. Four years now and counting. I am thankful that I can serve others in so many different ways. This beginning to sound like a testimonial and that is not in intention. Enough about me.
The world has become quite confusing to me. On one hand it's OK to kill the unborn but we get upset if someone gets murdered. What's the difference?
We have a government that is going who knows where. Nobody wants to negotiate or compromise so each side is always trying to one up the other.
Health care is a mess. Some have coverage, some think they have coverage, and some don't even care about coverage.
There is way too much discontent among the sectors of the world society. So much fighting.
I believe and am so glad that I can be rest assured that God is in control. That does not mean He is going to fix our mess. It means that He will give us the means to fix it. Weather we listen or not is up to us.
Enough of my rambling for now.

peace and love
